With HTML we can create the static pages. We can create, edit, or view the HTML code for a Web page in any text editor on any computer platform, such as Windows Notepad. Creating the Web page is not just a text editing task, it is much more than that, and it is very innovative task of presenting yourself or your company on the Internet.

People argue when they can create a web page very easily with the web-authoring tools such as Microsoft FrontPage Express and Macro¬media Dreamweaver, then what is the need to learn the HTML; these tools let them create HTML Web pages in the same way you create documents in your word processor. As you can understand that today web page is just a text document, it is lot more, and when you are trying some big things, you must have knowledge about few minute things also. When you are driving a car, although you don’t need to know the internals of car, but what when the car tyre bursts in the middle, you don’t leave the car, you change it with the stapany(extra tyre) available. Sometimes there is need to view the code, if you don’t understand what each word in it means, you won’t be able to do anything.
