I have about 20 different web sites which are hosted with different hosting services. Would it be smarter for me to go with a dedicated server and move all my sites on one? And how would this effect my Google ranking for my sites on one dedicated server?

You most likely don’t need a Dedicated server. A Reseller is probably best for you. U can purchase a Reseller web hosting plan from cpwebhosting.net and host Unlimited Domain and SubDomain.

It depends on u. How much bandwidth and space are your websites taking up and how many hits do you receive altogther? This should be the main thing you think about when switching to a bigger server.

If you have high traffic sites or you store large amounts of data (movies, music, images, etc.) you might want to get a dedicated server.

To maintain a dedicated server you must have the technical know how. Else you end up spending your time maintaining your dedicated server than maintaining your websites .

I think You could go with a managed dedicated server. This would allow you the advantages of a dedicated server without the headaches and knowhow.
